And a soft rain fell

"Painting with the raw energy of life..."

'Trying to paint the raw energy of the life of a place, and for me, being able to do that stems from spending time slowly getting to know and falling in love with the place.'

Great wild oaks of the river dart Dark dart, winter solstice Moss on the rocks and I'm just at peace here Place of so much magic The river epic The wild dance of Oak, rock and river This place by the river I love

And a soft rain fell Mating call of earth and sky The fields of Huccaby This land blessed by the ravens wings This wild untamed land Three kings, Holne moor Too close to heaven While the great cloak of the sky turns dark

With my arms held wide Bluebells shine like stars in the dark magic of the woods Hawthorne 2 Out of the darkness and into the light Praise the invisible sun Ravens call There is still magic in the woods Widwood

Upon the wind and waves God I love it here One precious moment The exquisite line of the sun The wind blows wild The wind is delicious, sweet and wild You in the Sky
